Taste:
Made the most delicious Lentil & Squash Bolognese for dinner the other day. Here is the recipe.
Scent:
Lemongrass
Lemongrass smells like a bright burst of citrus with a hint of earthiness, like if sunshine had a scent and decided to ground itself in the garden. It's fresh, clean, and just a little sharp—like nature’s version of a wake-up call. You get the zest of lemon with an herbal undertone, making it feel both energizing and calming at the same time. It's the kind of scent that clears your mind, perks up your senses, and makes you want to breathe in a little deeper.
Sound:
This playlist is a bit edgy and not for the faint of heart. But, if you have trouble focusing and need an energy boost to get going and be productive this experience could be a game-changer for you as it was for me!
Touch:
Have you heard of “Cricketing?” It’s the self-soothing technique of rubbing both of your feet together over and over as you’re trying to go to sleep. I have done this my whole life, just naturally (it really is soothing!) and recently learned that there was a name for it. Click here for more info on Cricketing.
Sight:
This exquisite ultra-magnified photo of isolated scales on Madagascan sunset moth wing and every other photo in the 2024 series.
Tell me. What is rocking YOUR 5-senses this week?
The enlarged photo of the Madagascar Moth makes a great artistic composition. Beautiful.
